Tea and toast- it can’t be beaten, right – Dinner Recipes









Tea and toast- it can’t be beaten, right? Especially if the tea is homemade chai, and the toast is crunchy sourdough topped with dill-cashew cheese, a whole avocado, pomegranate and golden flax. I’m a simple gal, with simple needs 🤷🏼‍♀️. I also added some sauerkraut after, ‘cos YOLO.
My favourite thing about drinking tea is that is reminds me of travelling. Tea seems to be the universal language of ‘stop, relax, connect’. No matter where I’ve been, a cup of tea is a right of passage and never too far from anyone’s mind. In Turkey and Iran, offering your guests a cup of tea is a matter on honour, and something everyone (despite their wealth or lack there of) can do for their guests. It’s the same in Asia, in Europe, in Australia and, I’m sure, The America’s.
