#selfietime This is my current condition… Not my leanest by far, but what I’ve been maintaining for the last 6 months, give or take a few pounds!
I was at my leanest around 3 years ago now, but my shape was very different.
Since then I have put on a fair bit of muscle mass, which of course comes with some fat gain.
My lifestyle was also very different. I had no injuries and my training regime was pretty brutal (hence the current injuries…) I am currently calorie cycling and having high, medium and low calorie days. I’m hitting poverty macros on my low days, which can be pretty tough, but it’s allowing me to maintain my weight and enjoy my food, despite not being able to be very active!
Due to my knee and shoulder injuries, I can’t be as active as I’d like to be both inside and outside the gym, which means I don’t burn a load of calories… And if I can’t burn a lot of calories, I can’t eat a lot either, which makes dieting kinda difficult!
But… Despite my body being against me 😏🙈 I’m pretty happy with what I’ve been able to maintain with my low activity levels. Maybe they’re right with this whole 80% diet 20% exercise thing 😉
Hopefully at some point soon I’ll be pain free and able to do more exercise again! #fingerscrossed 😁
Have a great day ☀️
