Got roasted by the 3 hr wait for the sig – Food Recipes Cookies

Got roasted by the 3 hr wait for the signature pan roast at Oyster Bar inside the Palace Station. The combination pan roast was good with ample amounts of shrimp, crab, and lobster. It tasted like a more “tomato-y” version of Tikka Masala. The combination gumbo was the highlight for me and just a solid, well balanced dish overall. The okra added an element of earthiness, and the Andouille sausage really enhanced the heat and flavor of the soup. We also tried raw clams on the shell for the first time (besides eating it as Mirugai sushi before). However, I had to dose it with cocktail sauce, horseradish, and Tabasco, because it was too fishy for my liking. So was it worth the 3 hr wait? Hell nah, but it’s one of those places you just gotta cross off your list. Got eeemmm! —————————————–
